Rolling Stock Assembly Department
Main Depot & Maintenance Workshop – Kombolcha
The line includes a central depot with a comprehensive maintenance workshop located in Kombolcha.
This facility ensures the smooth exchange of rolling stock, allowing units requiring repair to be withdrawn and freshly serviced stock to return to operation.
Workshop activities focus on keeping all vehicles and equipment in optimal condition through systematic inspection, repair, and replacement of components.
A dedicated diesel shunting locomotive is available on-site to efficiently move rolling stock in and out of the maintenance bays.
